Calculus Crash Courses? Yeah!

Hey Guys,

I hope you thoroughly enjoyed yourselves at Bamfield and are looking forward to getting back into the swing of school! But if you are not quite ready to delve back into Math, your Science One Survivors club is here to help!

The SOS is putting on two calculus help sessions for you!
  1. Thursday, October 8th @ 5pm, in room 103 of the Abdul Ladha Science Centre: This first session is for going over the basics of differential calculus - if you are having trouble staying on top of lectures and textbook questions, this is the session for you. This session is designed to be very structured and has a target audience of people that have not taken Calculus AP or Math 12 HL, but all who need help is welcomed.
  2. Tuesday, October 13th @ 5pm, in the Science One Lounge (room 361 in IBLC): The second session is for general help with calculus, and is designed to be more interactive than the first. Here you can discuss any problems with past math assignments, and perhaps even get a few clues about current ones. If there are no questions, the mentor will begin walking through some interesting concept problems. All is welcomed!
If you have any questions, or you already know you will be attending either sessions, please contact scionesurvivors (at) gmail.com or chang_de_la_justin (at) hotmail.com

I hope to see you there,
Justin Chang
